Some Tips for Maintaining Better Vision and Keeping Them Beautiful




We all know that eyes are the window to our soul and eyes can speak our mind.  As such, nobody wants their eyes to appear tired and lifeless.

It is a matter of fact that even those who are most concerned with their beauty and skin care forget to take proper care of their eyes.  But eventually we start taking care of our eyes, once any problem arises.

Not taking proper care of our eyes for a long time leads to sudden appearance of dark circles underneath them.  One day you will notice that the tired and lifeless looking eyes are blocking the beauty of your face. With the sudden appearance of dark circles and puffy eyes, you will realize that indeed you should start to take good care of them. After all, our eyes are the main feature of our face and they let us see the world.  So how can you even allow yourself to have lifeless set of eyes looking dull and indicating fatigue and tiredness?

So, start to include a basic eye care routine to your usual skin care regime. Take care of your eyes regularly. This will let you have beautiful pair of eyes and also help in keeping them in good shape.

Few guidelines you can follow while taking care of your eyes

There are useful eye exercises which can improve the shape of your eye. Performing these exercises regularly can help you in improving various vision disorders and also ease eye strain and eye fatigue. Use your ring fingers and gently massage around your eye sockets in circular motion for two minutes. Locate the place between your eyebrows and eye sockets and place and massage gently.  You should apply least pressure and massage either clockwise or counterclockwise.

Rub both of your palms. This will make your palms warm. Place your warm palms above closed eyelids. This will let your eyes relax.

We all know that staring at electronic media screens for a long time is harmful for our eyes. In spite of knowing it, we can hardly give up our habit and limit our screen time. So it is better to practice some habits in this situation. One habit we can start from right now is to blink every 30 seconds to combat dryness while staring at computer screen. Besides from this, try to give your eyes a short break of at least 30 seconds after each 30 minutes. If possible keeping your eyes completely shut for 1 or 2 minutes.

It is important to keep the eyes hydrated. So, splash your eyes with plenty of room-temperature water whenever possible. This assists in getting rid of tired eyes and also keeps them hydrated. Moreover we should also drink plenty of water and eat water-based fruits and vegetables.

A good diet which has sea-fish such as salmon and green vegetables helps you achieve the perfect vision. These items are rich in antioxidants and nutrients and also beneficial for better eye sights.

In fact it doesn’t take much time to take care of our eyes and we all can expect to have a beautiful pair of eyes to look sparkling and bright within a short time just by adopting some small lifestyle changes.

You may consider the following tips for achieving beautiful eyes

Cucumber slices play a vital role in treating dull eyes. Cut few slices of cucumber and chill them in refrigerator for few minutes. Place the chilled slices of cucumber over your eyelids and relax till they become warm. Then wash your face with water. You can repeat this process whenever you feel like. Cucumber contains such ingredients which works wonder in healing the dull eyes and reducing the dark circles around them.

Chilled potato slices also work just like that of cucumber. Place two chilled slices of potato in the same procedure as the one described above.  Other than that, you can also use grated potato. This helps in reducing the swelling around the eyes.

Another way to achieve beautiful eye is to store the used tea bags by putting them in the refrigerator. These tea bags help in restoring the natural glow to your eyes. Place the chilled teabags over your closed eyelids for few minutes and relax.  This not only helps in relaxing the eyes but also helps in making you feel more refreshed.
